DIAGNOSTIC ULTRASOUND
We offer diagnostic ultrasound in musculoskeletal disorders. This patient-friendly ultrasound is quick, painless and free of radiation. Together with a comprehensive clinical examination, we have the opportunity to make a more accurate diagnosis in a number of conditions.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY
Shockwave therapy is an effective and safe treatment. It is used against a variety of diagnoses and disorders, especially against tendon injuries. We use the most up-to-date equipment from EMS - Swiss Dolorclast Smart 20, edition 2020 (see video below).
How does shockwave therapy work?

Break down damaged soft tissue/muscles/tendons and provides the basis for improved tendon health.

Stimulates blood circulation and repair processes to the muscle, tendon and connective tissue.
This repair response takes between 5-7 days, so there must be at least a week's time between each shockwave treatment. Most often, between 3-5 treatments are needed in combination with other physiotherapist treatments as well as training the damaged structure for optimal effect.
